What does Skyline offer for the investment?

Skyline will enable you to manage your fleet efficiently. Exact savings cannot be quantified although information is key. With detailed vehicle & driver reporting, speeding, idling and out-of-hours use reporting Skyline will deliver important, actionable, information quickly and easily.

When using this data most fleets are able to reduce fuel costs by between 10% & 30%.

Using idling as an example up to 1 gallon of fuel can be wasted when the vehicle is not moving. With fuel prices at record levels and increased pressure on the environment this is waste than can be easily reduced.

Skyline also puts fleet managers in control of the private and business miles content with a further range of reports and hardware that enables these costs to be applied fairly and accurately.

What does it do? Monitor harsh and emergency braking etc. Monitor how long a vehicle is running without moving. Monitor vehicle speeds. Monitor vehicle movements. Monitor unauthorised vehicle usage.
Why do I need to know? Increased strain will result in shorter life of vehicle and more repairs etc. An HGV burns on average 4 litres of fuel per hour; a smaller vehicle burns 1 litre per hour when idling.
