Kayak Challange

Stuart Kettell will set off on July 14th 2009 on a mammoth Kayak challenge to paddle the English Challenge and then from London to Coventry‘s canal basin.

With no prior kayaking experience and a lack of confidence in the water Stuart has been undergoing training in his 16ft sea kayak in preparation for his voyage giving himself just a week to complete the adventure.

Stuart is no stranger to unusual challenges, he has flown round the UK coast on a Flexwing Microlight and has also ridden from Lands End to John O‘Groats on a Penny Farthing.

His kayaking challenge will start at Dover on July 14th where Stuart along with his support crew will make his way across the channel to France. Returning with his support boat Stuart will continue his journey down the River Thames to The Grand Union Canal onto The Oxford Canal and then the Coventry Canal into the Coventry Basin.

Using a Skyline Solo donated by Enigma for the challenge, Stuart‘s supporters will be able to logon and see his progress at every step of the way via the Skyline tracking and fleet management software.

Stuart will be raising money in support of the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity which is an extremely worthy cause. To find out more about Stuart‘s challenge visit his website or to sponsor him visit Stuarts Just Giving site.
