Enigma Vehicle Systems Ltd a UK specialist in stolen vehicle tracking, immobilisers & remote asset tracking continues its expansion drive with the appointment of a new partner in Pakistan.
On the 24th April Skyline Enigma Vehicle Tracking (PVT) Ltd was launched in Lahore to service the growing appetite for asset management and stolen vehicle recovery. Based in Lahore, initially, Enigma Pakistan will serve the needs of a population of around 180 million which suffers from a severe car crime problem. Current statistics suggest that over 90,000 vehicles are stolen every year of which around 31,000 are in Lahore alone. The majority of these are never recovered and either dismantled for spares or taken illegally over the border to neighbouring countries like Afghanistan.
During the launch attended by representatives from local banks, finance houses, Police, motor dealers & insurers the sophisticated, yet simple to use, features of Skyline were applauded. A unique feature in this market is that remote immobilisation of stolen vehicles is allowed.
Skyline Pakistan already has a team of skilled installation engineers, 24/7 bureau staff together with management and support staff situated in newly refurbished premises in Lahore.
Their principal Mr Raja Farooq retired Senior Superintendent of Police commented. “ This is the culmination of 9 months planning and supplier selection. We’re delighted to have partnered with Enigma Vehicle Systems Ltd and their daughter company Enigma Telematics based in Sharjah, for the supply of products, software and expertise. I am particularly impressed by their expertise which has been borne out of 20 years in the business and the fact that their product meets the demanding requirements of the UK insurance industry and has been fully accredited by Thatcham.
To welcome their CEO, Ian Keam-George, here in Lahore for this launch is a particular pleasure. I’m looking forward to long and successful relationship with Enigma.”
