Skyline recovers stolen vehicles globally

In October 2011 the Skyline remote asset management and stolen vehicle recovery system proved its worth with several successful recoveries reported.

On the same day our team was occupied assisting the Police with the recovery of a van near London our partner in Kenya, G4S Kenya Limited was assisting in another recovery.

A light Mitsubishi truck was reported to have been stolen in Nairobi in October this year and was successfully tracked by the 24-hour Communication Centre team at G4S Kenya. Once it became clear the vehicle was heading for Uganda G4S Kenya used their multi-national capability to liaise with the Ugandan Police. The vehicle was eventually recovered in Jinja, Uganda where 4 people were arrested and taken into custody.

Recovery and safe return of the vehicle to the owner was arranged by G4S Kenya. This is one of the benefits that customers who use G4S Fleet Control enjoy.

Ian Keam-George CEO of Enigma Vehicle Systems Ltd commented “G4S Kenya's decision to adopt Skyline as their secure fleet choice was a turning point in our development in East Africa. To have the world's leading security solutions group select our product makes us proud and is a testimony to the dedicated team within Enigma and the ability of the system to deliver results in a demanding environment.”
