Skyline CAT 5 Plus

This is the top of the range stolen vehicle recovery & management system which was launched in 2009. Approved by Thatcham, a UK based organization funded by all UK based major insurers. The CAT5 plus product carries the Thatcham approval number TASS-400/1109 of which more details can be found on the following link.

Skyline CAT5 Plus is an is an advanced, rugged & weatherproof Class 1 Thatcham accredited security product comprising of Skyline E-Lock 3, a keypad controlled three circuit electronic immobiliser, E-Touch the touch key controlled three circuit immobiliser or finally the e-driver RFID tagging system. These are all linked to the Skyline CAT5 tracking unit.

The system arms automatically and is disarmed by means of the e-lock 3, e-touch or Passive RFID tag. The latter also provides driver information for management information.

Should any movement of the vehicle occur without an authorized key being used an immediate message will be sent both to the host software & our 24/7 UKAS approved monitoring centre. They will respond pro-actively to these alerts & advise the owner of system activation.

In addition to the key security features of Skyline CAT5 all the benefits of the Skyline web-based remote asset management system are provided. This provides users with added-value by way of position on request, vehicle status updates, and a diverse suite of driver and vehicle activity & exception reports. Most importantly the system will automatically notify you if the system is suspected to be faulty.
