Skyline Trailer

The Skyline SK125 TT has been developed for applications where the asset has little or no power & there is a requirement for tracking with long periods between re-charging.

This latest device uses the SK117 module & features a long-life battery together with sophisticated battery management software allowing it to remain operational for well over 120 days without external power.

Housed in a weatherproof enclosure the SK125TT is ideally suited to trailer & similar applications where standby life is critical between further charging. Battery management is so efficient that it will take just 2.5 hours to fully replenish a fully discharged battery.

To achieve this long life a 10,000 mAh battery has been used together with new reporting & power save functions. Battery life quoted above is based on two timed wake-up messages per day with an awake time of 2 minutes after each timed wake-up. This allows users to create alerts when a specific asset is awake & further allows them to alter, over-the-air, to a more regular reporting profile if the need arises.
