The new Skyline Trailer Tracker is an evolution based on the successful and proven Skyline product range.

Developed specifically for applications where there is little or no external power coupled with a requirement for long life between re-charging and regular reporting whilst moving.

Based on our industry proven Skyline platform the Trailer Tracker delivers all of our standard fleet management tools whilst being specifically designed for installation on Trailers or Caravans.

The Skyline Trailer Tracker is protected by a weatherproof housing and has been engineered together with longer life batteries and smart charging circuit.

In optimum conditions the Trailer Tracker can exceed 150 days standby before a recharge is necessary. These predictions are based on two timed wake-ups per day and an awake time of 2 minutes. The new reporting message also includes battery voltage status and the unit can also be set to automatically go to an ultra-low power mode once a pre-programmed threshold has been reached.

To ensure long-life and reliability the Skyline Trailer Tracker must be fully charged within the 150 day period and requires external power to ensure the internal battery receives regular charging. Without external power the unit has no capability to recharge and will not work once the internal batteries are fully dis-charged.
