Thatcham Recognised Installer
Following the demise of the VSIB (Vehicle Security Installation Board) to which Enigma Vehicle System’s was accredited to in all categories, Thatcham has launched its own recognised installer scheme to ensure that security installations are carried out appropriately reducing the risk to consumers and insurers alike.
Stage 1: of their scheme allows all previous VSIB accredited installers to apply for registration until 1st January 2010. The database of installers will be accessible to enquirers as appropriate.
Stage 2: will see Thatcham develop a competency based “Thatcham Recognised Installer Scheme” and certificate.

Enigma has transferred to the Thatcham Recognised Installer scheme and will be seeking to re-register in January 2010 through the robust competency based certification.
