This privacy policy is for this website www.enigmavehicle.co.uk (the “Website”) and our on-demand telematics platform (“Skyline”), mobile applications and tools and services offered on the Site and mobile application (the “Service”) served by Enigma Vehicle Systems LTD and governs the privacy of the users who choose to use it.

To provide the required level of service to you, we collect some of your personal information. This information may include your name, job title, company name, e-mail address, postal address and telephone number. Some information is collected automatically, for example any referring site, your browser and IP address. This information is used to create user profiles and to help us customise the site to meet your needs in the best possible way.

This policy sets out the different areas where user privacy is concerned and outlines the obligations and requirements of the users, the website and website owners.

Our Services and Site are not intended for children nor do we knowingly collect data relating to children.

We provide telematics, fleet management, and vehicle and asset tracking services and products (the “Service”). When we say “client”, “member”, “user” or “subscriber”, we are referring to the person, business or entity that is registered with us to use our services. When we say “you”, we are referring to a member or persons who use our services. “Personal information” shall mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

We supply services via our website, our on-demand telematics platform (“Skyline”) and mobile applications, this privacy policy applies to all instances of our services (referred to as “Website” and “Applications”). Furthermore, when we say “website visitor”, we are referring to a person who accesses our website via a computer, mobile device or other technology, manner or means. While providing our services, we may collect Personal Information about a website visitor, user and/or driver/operator, how and why this data is collected is described in further detail below.

The use of information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which Enigma’s client has engaged us.


What Data We Collect and How We Use Your Data

We collect personal data as part of our provision of services to you. In addition, we may record or monitor calls, emails, and other communications in accordance with UK law. Furthermore, we will manage your personal data in accordance with the tenants of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure that all your data is processed and managed correctly. When submitting your Personal Information or any third party Personal Information, you are agreeing to, or have obtained the data subject’s consent to such processing, transfer or storage as outlined above. When Your Data is Collected

We acquire, hold, use, and process personal information for a variety of business purposes, we may collect your personal data when:

  • You make an enquiry via our website, phone or email
  • You contact customer services, request customer service or technical support

  • You request a Skyline User login
  • You register for marketing, information or other services with us
  • You respond to a communication or survey

How We Share The Information We Collect

Enigma does not sell or otherwise disclose Personal Information about you, except as described in this Policy or as you explicitly consent to. Due to the nature of our business, we work with a variety of GDPR compliant businesses who act as data processors. These processors store and process your personal data on our instruction and on our behalf.

The types of service providers (processors) to whom we entrust Personal Information include service providers for: (i) provision of IT and related services; (ii) provision of information and services you have requested; (iii) payment processing; (iv) customer service activities; and (v) in connection with the provision of the Site.

Enigma has executed appropriate contracts with the service providers that prohibit them from using or sharing Personal Information except as necessary to perform the contracted services on our behalf or to comply with applicable legal requirements.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganisation, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, then your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract. In such event, Enigma will endeavour to direct the transferee to use Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such Personal Information was collected.


Marketing

Enigma Telematics will contact you from time to time by telephone, post, email, or social media channels to keep you informed with news and updates to our range of product or services. We base our marketing communications on your preferences and if you have opted in.

It should be noted that Mailchimp does not store its data within the European Economic Area, the information is stored in the US. To comply with requirements of GDPR any transfer of personal data to a territory outside of the EEA must ensure an adequate level of protection. The US provides the Privacy Shield framework which is compliant with this requirement and Mailchimp participates in and is certified for the Privacy Shield framework.

Enigma Telematics may contact you from time to time to ask you to take part in surveys. These surveys will be used to review, develop and improve our service. We use Survey Monkey as a host for our surveys. By providing Enigma Telematics with this service Survey Monkey acts as a data processor, Enigma Telematics will remain the data controller at all times. Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to edit this privacy policy at any time, the revised version will be posted on this website. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy is reflected by the version date located at the top of this privacy policy. You will be directed to any changes to the policy when you next visit our website.

From time to time, we may need to change the way we use your personal data. In cases, where we believe that you may not reasonably expect such a change we will write to you. When we do so, you will have 60 days in which to object to the change, your continued use of the Site or Service constitutes your agreement to be bound by such changes to the privacy policy. Your only remedy, if you do not accept the terms of this privacy policy, is to discontinue use of the Site and Service.
